Once you connect an app, you can import resources, e.g. AWS IAM roles, GitHub repos, Salesforce permissions, etc. that you want to manage access to.

For each resource that you import, you can view the list of users that have access to that resource, [configure approval workflows](/docs/configure-reviewers#approval-workflows), and [conduct periodic access reviews](/docs/access-reviews).

After you import an app, Opal reflects any changes made on the end system from that point forward. Opal does this by running a periodic sync with the end system to pull changes made on the end system into Opal.
